(CHICAGO) Two days before the Senate Judiciary Committee is set to vote on the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch, anti-Trump organizers will rally in Chicago and cities across the country to call on their senators to oppose President Trump’s agenda.
Chicago’s event is being organized by the People’s Defense campaign and will take place outside of the Dirksen Federal Building in the Loop.
Over the last month, People’s Defense says they have delivered one million petition signatures to all 100 senators which called on them to oppose Gorsuch, rolled out a six-figure digital ad campaign, and mobilized on social media to gather support for the coalition.
