(CHICAGO) An argument over the cost of construction work is what apparently sparked a north suburban machete attack.
Juan Casanova of Round Lake Park wasn’t happy when his roommate, who also did some work on his home, tried to collect the several thousand dollars he said he was owed.
Police say they found the victim in the homeowner’s front yard on the 200 block of Windridge Drive Wednesday afternoon saying Casanova attacked him with a machete. He suffered only minor wounds.
Casanova was already wanted a couple of warrants – one for not appearing in court on a charge of driving on a revoked license and another from the immigration and naturalization service.
Casanova’s bond has been set at $75,000.
