(SUSSEX, WISCONSIN) — Drivers in southeast Wisconsin got a bit of a surprise as they entered a small town.
Sussex, Wisconsin is a village about 20 miles northwest of Milwaukee. Painters there were painting the water tower there with the name of the town when they decided they’d stop about half way through and let the paint dry until the next day.
So they packed up their buckets, took the long ladder down and went home half of the tower was painted.
Unfortunately it was the last half of the towns name. So instead of big letters saying Sussex, only the last half of the word was there. We don’t know if tourists thought they were in a very free swinging town, or were being ordered to do something.
