(CHICAGO) Actor Stacy Keach could be released from a Chicago hospital today.
Keach has been in Chicago for the play “Pamplona” and he became confused during the May 30 premiere at the Goodman Theatre. It turns out he was having a heart attack.
The actor was hospitalized and the one-man play about author Ernest Hemingway was canceled.
The play’s director Robert Falls says he has visited the 76-year-old actor and found him in good spirits. He said Keach even asked “when are we rescheduling?”
Plans are for Keach to stay in Chicago while he recuperates so he can be close to his doctors.
