(DOLTON) Cleaning a south suburban garage turned into a terrifying event.
It happened in South suburban Dolton yesterday. A homeowner and a family member were cleaning out the garage. There was a bad smell in there, and they were trying to improve the atmospheree. As they worked at the home in the 157-00 block of South Drexel, the home owner found a plastic bag and asked the family member to take it out to the yard.
Later, the homeowner opened the bag and found the decomposing body an in infant. The homeowner hurried to call the police. Investigators asked some questions and took the body to the Cook County Medical Examiners office for an autopsy. The age and gender of the body was not released, and will wait for the autopsy results…most likely later today.
