(CHICAGO) Another day, another round of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel dumping on Governor Bruce Rauner.
This time, it’s the mayor arguing the governor is too greedy about what he wants out of the school funding reform.
Emanuel said of the Governor, “He’s getting 90% of what he asked for according to his deputy governor for education, and he’s still gonna veto the bill. You cannot make perfection the enemy of progress,” and that getting schools back open in August and September is the next big pressure point facing both sides.
