(CHICAGO) The family of Trenton James Cornell-Duranleau says they had to find a larger funeral venue for Saturday’s service in Lennon, Michigan due to the “amount of love and support” they’ve received.
Cornell-Duranleau was found stabbed to death on July 27th in former Northwestern University Professor Wyndham Lathem’s apartment. The motive is not known.
Lathem is accused in the case, along with Oxford University financial officer Andrew Warren. Both men surrendered to authorities in California last Friday, after a days-long manhunt.
Lathem has waived extradition and will be returned to Chicago to face charges. Warren has a California court appearance scheduled for Friday morning.
Cornell-Duranleau’s funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at The Lennon Wesleyan Church with burial to immediately follow.
