(CHICAGO) After Las Vegas, what’s security going to look like here in Chicago for the marathon and the Cubs playoffs?
Mayor Rahm Emanuel says Chicago’s ready because they’ve already done 6 active shooter drills this year alone, pointing out “I know what’s on your mind. Next week is the Chicago Marathon. We increased our security preparations post-Boston and we’ve been running exercises pre-Vegas from the Boston experience and that will only be enhanced. Second is baseball playoffs. We’re going to continue enhanced security. The city is prepared and doing its work.”
