(ELGIN, Ill.) — Murder charges have been filed against the son of a 76-year-old woman whose body was found in a lagoon in Lincoln Park over the weekend.
Police say 55-year-old Brian Peck has been charged with two counts of first degree murder for the death of his mother Gail Peck who was reported missing from her Elgin home Friday. That prompted an hours long search by Elgin police.
The remains of what’s believed to be Gail Peck were found in two duffle bags by a fisherman Saturday morning.
