(WASHINGTON) –– President Donald Trump’s longtime aide Hope Hicks apparently didn’t answer enough questions for some on the House intelligence committee including Congressman Mike Quigley of Chicago. After the hearing, he spoke briefly to reporters.
Reporter: “Has there been a subpoena issued for her?”
Quigley: “No.”
Reporter: “Should there be?”
Quigley “Yes. As with anyone that doesn’t answer questions, they should be subpoenaed.”
Hicks apparently wouldn’t answer questions about anything that happened in the White House from the inauguration forward.
The panel is investigating contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russia, as is special counsel Robert Mueller.
