The Maryland Senate has come out supporting a bill that would force presidential candidates to release their tax returns in order to show up on the state ballot.
The “Baltimore Sun” reports the Senate passed legislation last night that would require candidates to share returns going back at least five years.
Maryland would be the first state to enact such a law.
What do you think of this bill? For this to be effective, wouldn’t all 50 states really need to get behind it?
