(CHICAGO) The Illinois Primary is Tuesday and in the race for governor, Democrat Daniel Biss is using one of Chris Kennedy’s lines against him, and against front-runner JB Pritzker too.
Biss stood out in the cold across the Chicago River from Trump Tower, and compared Kennedy and Pritzker to Trump in the way all three have only released what he called “a tiny amount” of their tax returns, noting “Chris Kennedy said something pretty insightful in the debate Wednesday night. If someone’s willing to lie to you in a job interview to get a job, then if they get the job, they’ll lie to you to keep the job and Chris Kennedy and JB Pritzker have been willing to lie to us. They lied to us about their plans to release their tax returns. JB Pritzker lie to us about his off-shore money. Democrats should be better than that.”
Biss made the claim that he can win Tuesday in a healthy turnout because he’s within single digits of Pritzker.
