(CHICAGO) Mayor Rahm Emanuel is joining Police Supt. Eddie Johnson in denouncing Chicago Magazine for publishing a story containing interviews with both the suspect and the widow in the case of the Police Commander Paul Bauer murder.
Emanuel is calling the piece “morally repugnant” adding “And to have a moral plane, as if Commander Bauer and a thug with a criminal record as long as War & Peace as morally equivilent, I wouldn’t use that article in my fireplace as kindling.”
The Mayor then took this shot at the writers and editors: That’s all I gotta say.”
