(CHICAGO) The Army is considering over a dozen cities for the headquarters of its planned “Futures Command” which will keep track of emerging technology that could be used in fighting.
The Army has asked 15 cities for detailed information. Among those on the list: Chicago, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles, and New York.
The Army says the headquarters should be near universities and technology companies but no word on when a city will be chosen.
