(CHICAGO) Mayor Emanuel is adding attractive discount features to Chicago new municipal ID called “CityKey”, although he denies they are politically motivated.
CityKey now features dozens of discount offers at Chicago business and museums. It also helps people register to vote and it will also help illegal immigrants get various city services.
Critics says CityKey invites voter fraud, which will ultimately help Emanuel.
The Mayor denies this saying, “That’s a red herring. The undocumented cannot vote and it’s an attempt to divide people when this is actually bringing people together. Now, in an attempt to bring people together, my suggestion to everybody: you all go see the Joffrey Ballet. It’s one of the most spectacular dances I’ve seen in literally a decade.
Some say that the Mayor was dancing away from saying anything more on the CityKey.
