The Obama Presidential Library has announced its next step

The Obama Presidential Center is going to have a library after all: a Chicago Public Library branch. Mayor Emanuel says it further redefines what presidential libraries can be in the future:
“To have a reinvention of the presidential library, not as an island isolated from a community, but integrated into a community in its full capacity.”

Up next, the Obama Presidential Center proposal goes before the Chicago Plan Commission in two weeks at City Hall.
