Sylvia Bloom, who worked at the same law firm as a secretary for 67 years until she retired at 96, amassed more than $9 million dollars simply by observing how the lawyers she worked for invested their money.
Bloom made her money, according to family members, by taking note of which stocks her managers purchased and then buying the same things in smaller amounts.
In her will, she directed $6.24 million for a program that helps children in need prepare and attend college.
She donated most of her millions to charity without telling even her closest friends and relatives.
