(CHICAGO) In the Puerto Rican flag shirt controversy, the Cook County Forest Preserve cop who apparently did nothing to stop the drunk from harassing the woman who videoed him has quit, but public officials like the forest preserve superintendent aren’t quitting.
Arnie Randall who’s been working diligently to improve the forest preserves told reporters this is not who were are, “We will treat this as a learning opportunity.”
Meantime, County Commissioner Jesus Garcia wants the drunk charged with a hate crime, and his mentor, Congressman Luis Gutierrez was on the floor of the house blaming Trump, saying “Bullies who do not understand the first thing about their fellow human beings are being taught to fear that something they have is being take away from them. I wonder where they get such an idea?”
So the whole affair is now completely politicized.
