The PR machine is really cranking in anticipation of Sacha Baron Cohen’s new Showtime series, Who Is America?
Former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin revealed on Facebook that she was “duped” into an interview by the star, and now he’s hitting back at the accusation.
Cohen retweeted a message from one of his characters, proving that he didn’t set up the interview under false pretense.
“I did NOT say I was a War Vet. I was in the service — not military, but United Parcel,” the message read.
Meanwhile former US Senate candidate Roy Moore is threatening to sue the network after a sit-down interview with Cohen, calling it a “defamatory attack on my character.”
