(CHICAGO) President Trump is doing all he can to scale back Obamacare, but at City Hall Mayor Emanuel is trying to stop him.
City Hall is joining a few other cities in a lawsuit accusing Trump of trying to sabotage Obamacare with a variety of new regulations.
Rahm’s chief city attorney, Corporation Counsel Ed Siskel argues that’s illegal, “The president is required under the constitution to take care that laws enacted by Congress are failthfully executed and he can’t for political reasons not to enforce a federal action and actually to kill it.”
But the other side argues Obamacare has been a disaster, and ought to be replaced by plans with greater choice.
