(CHICAGO) At City Hall, the preacher behind the planned Labor Day march at O’Hare says he’s going to try to block traffic in two directions.
A good time not to try to drive into O’Hare is Labor Day, Monday Sept 3rd at 1130 am and then for another couple of hours.
Greg Livingston says he’ll lead a march with a hundred or so protesters from the Cumberland entrance ramp to the Kennedy, up the Kennedy to just beyond the River Road exit, then cross the median to try to block traffic coming and going to O’Hare.
So, how many marchers does the tall Livingston think he needs to block traffic in both directions?
“If they were all my size, about five or six,” says Livingston.
So he’s lowering expectations about the turnout.
