(CHICAGO) Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) is backing Senator Booker’s threat to violate senate rules and release confidential emails.
Durbin’s in senate leadership as the assistant minority leader, but in the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing he backed Booker violating senate rules.
“I completely agree with you, said Durbin, “I concur with what you’re doing and let’s jump into this pit together. I hope my other colleagues will join me. So, if there’s going to be some retribution against the senator from New Jersey, count me in!”
Republicans say Booker running for president is no excuse for violating senate rules.
