A new Senate bill would approve the use of medial marijuana for military veterans.
The Veterans Medical Marijuana Safe Harbor Act would allow VA doctors to prescribe medical cannabis in states where it’s permitted.
It would also clear up $15 million for more research on its effects.
Currently 31 states have legalized medical marijuana and a recent poll showed 81 percent of military veterans support legalization.
