(CHICAGO) In the race for mayor, Bill Daley – brother of former Mayor Richard Daley – has decided to run for mayor.
Bill Daley was chief of staff to President Barack Obama and Commerce Secretary for Bill Clinton. He briefly ran for governor, but dropped out.
This time his camp swears he won’t drop out a race for mayor because he thinks he can help with city finances, crime reduction and affordability.
As Bill Daley said five years ago, “It’s one thing quite frankly to be in the gallery and it’s another thing to be on the dance floor.”
And now another Daley wants to be mayor.
