Nikki Haley says the UN General Assembly was laughing *with* President Trump, not at him.
The UN Ambassador said when the crowd appeared to laugh during Trump’s speech on Tuesday, it was because “they loved how honest he is” and that they found it funny because “It’s not diplomatic”.
Trump told the crowd his administration had accomplished “more than almost any administration in the history of our country”.
Haley says diplomats were lining up to praise Trump’s speech and grab a photo afterwards.
She accused the media of trying to paint it as “something disrespectful”.
