(CHICAGO) Early voting for the November 6th election began Thursday and Bill Cameron says it’s already setting a record.
The midterms may be a referendum on Trump and over at the Chicago Board of Elections, Jim Allen says early voting is enthusiastic, “We’ve already seen a record number of people apply to vote by mail by more than we had at this point by a factor of three than the presidential election. Normally, 40 days out traffic is really slow because early voting is one of those things that builds up like a roller-coaster hill the closer you get to election day. So, we’re already getting solid participation at this one site.”
And that Early Voting ‘Super Site’ is downtown at 175 West Washington.
