A new lawsuit is accusing the makers of LaCroix sparkling water of using artificial ingredients, including a chemical used in cockroach insecticide.
The lawsuit centers around LaCroix’s use of the phrase “all natural”. Testing found synthetic ingredients such as linalool, used in insecticides, and limonene, which has been found to cause “kidney toxicity and tumors”.
LaCroix’s parent company, National Beverage Corp, insists that “all the flavor essences in LaCroix are natural”.
