At a rally in Rochester, MN on Thursday, President Trump taunted former Sen. Al Franken on resigning amid sexual harassment claims.
“That guy was wacky. Boy did he fold up like a wet rag, huh?” the president said to a Minnesota crowd.
There was a total of eight women that came out with allegations against Franken prompting him to resign in December.
Franken commented on the hypocrisy of his resignation saying, “I of all people am aware that there is some irony in the fact that I am leaving, while a man who has bragged on tape about his history of sexual assault sits in the Oval office.”
