The latest thing that millenials are ditching? Primary care doctors, according to a new study.
It found that 45% of people aged 18-29 don’t have a primary care provider, using clinics and urgent care centers instead.
Researchers say “expectations have changed” and millenials aren’t interested in scheduling appointments days in advance. However, they say an urgent care clinic is more likely to prescribe unnecessary drugs than a primary care physician.
