A number of U.S. companies are cancelling business in Saudi Arabia after the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi
A number of media companies including CNN, CNBC, the New York Times, and Bloomberg have dropped their sponsorship of an upcoming conference hosted by Saudi leader Mohammed bin Salman. British billionaire Richard Branson has also cancelled a $1 billion project with Saudi Arabia.
Khashoggi, whose columns appeared in the Washington Post, has not been seen since entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul last week. Turkish officials believe he was murdered inside. The Saudi government denies any involvement.
