Police in Detroit made a grisly discovery inside an old funeral home – the bodies of 11 infants hidden in the ceiling.
Construtction workers found the bodies inside Cantrell Funeral Home, which had been shut down six months ago. They say eight bodies were found inside a cardboard box, and three others inside a casket.
The funeral home was shut down in the spring after investigators found ‘deplorable’ conditions and two decomposing corpses inside. The home’s former manager claims she has no idea how the infant bodies wound up there.
