(SPRINGFIELD) — New data will appear on this year’s report cards that will provide a snapshot of school demographics and how well the students are doing. The State Board of Education has also included information on chronic absenteeism rates and new measures of student proficiency and growth.
The report cards will come with a new support and accountability system for rating schools that will use several factors to evaluate how well they are doing. That information will be available online at www.illinoisreportcard.com starting October 31.
