Google says over the last two years it has fired 48 employees for sexual harrassment, including 13 people in upper management.
The news comes after the New York Times reported that former Google exec Andy Rubin was given a $90 million package after he was fired for sexual misconduct in 2014. The company says none of the 48 employees fired since 2016 have received exit packages.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai says the company is dead serious” about harrassment and reviews “every single complaint”.
