The man accused of mailing at least 14 pipe bombs to Democratic politicians and other public figures made his first court appearance on Monday in Miami.
56-year-old Cesar Sayoc was formally charged with five different felonies that could add up to 48 years behind bars.
Sayoc allegedly had a list of 100 people he intended to send explosive packages to. Another package believed to be from Sayoc was intercepted on Monday, addressed to CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta.
