Police in Florida are investigating after someone fired shots at a Republican campaign office in South Daytona.
Police say multiple shots were fired sometime between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. The shots damaged the front windows but no one was inside at the time.
County GOP chairman Tony Ledbetter believes the shooter was a Democrat, and said his office had “never had this level of hate being thrown at ourselves”. Police are reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses.
