She was the oldest victim of the Pittsburgh Synagogue shootings that shocked the nation. 97-year-old Rose Mallinger is being laid to rest today.
The woman who had three grandchildren along with a great-grandchild was inside the Tree of Life synagogue Saturday morning when Robert Bowers shot up the building, killing 11.
In a statement, Mallinger’s family said, that for Mallinger “age was truly just a number.”
