A hit-and-run in Wisconsin has taken the lives of three Girl Scouts and one adult female. There is also one other girl in critical condition following the incident.
The Girl Scout troop was cleaning the ditches next to the roadway when the driver, 21-year-old Colton Treu, lost control of his pickup and struck the group in the ditch.
Authorities have not yet released the cause for the accident.
The entire group was wearing appropriate safety attire and were with several adults at the time of the crash.
