Former FBI Director James Comey called on voters to “uphold our nation’s values” in an Election Day op-ed for the New York Times .
Comey didn’t hold back on his criticisms of the current administration, referring to “Children in cages” along with “lying, misogyny, racism and attacks on the rule of law” from President Trump.
Many believe that Comey’s decision to re-open the Hillary Clinton email investigation helped swing the 2016 election for Trump. Trump fired him in 2017 and has repeatedly criticized Comey on Twitter.
