UN officials have discovered more than 200 mass graves holding the bodies of thousands of victims of ISIS militants.
Among the thousands of victims are women and children, the elderly, and soldiers with the Iraq army. They’re believed to be victims of a 2014 push by the Islamic State into northern Iraq.
The UN says more than 33,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed by ISIS so far.
