One of the most high-profile midterm races is in Texas, between Sen. Ted Cruz and Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke. And Texans are turning out in record numbers to cast their votes.
So far more than 4.9 million early votes have been cast – which is already more than the total number of votes cast in the state’s 2014 midterms.
Cruz has led in the polls throughout the race, but a high voter turnout could end up benefitting O’Rourke.
