The governor race in Georgia will not be decided before all the votes have been counted according to candidate Stacey Abrams.
Abrams has yet to concede to opponent Brian Kemp even though results show her losing.
“Democracy only work when we work for it, when we fight for it, when we demand it, and apparently today when we stand in line for hours to meet it at the ballot box,” said Abrams. “I am here today to tell you there are votes remaining to be counted. Voices are waiting to be hear.”
Technically there are votes yet to be counted when taking into account absentee ballots, provisional ballots and other outstanding votes. A runoff could be the outcome.
