A bold initiative being undertaken by the State of California could see them do something that no other state has done. They are considering keeping the hour they get in daylight saving time.
Prop 7 received nearly 60% support from voters on Tuesday night. Now, legislators will take up the measure that would knock California out of sync with the rest of the country for part of the year.
Arizona and Hawaii already opted out of switching their clocks. They align year-round with federal standard time.
