Last week, a Muslim girl, 10, received a handwritten note saying “You’re a terrorist” inside a Massachusetts classroom.
There was another note left for the girl early this week that said “I will kill you”.
The girl’s uncle Jamaal Siddiqui said, “It’s pretty disgusting. Threatening a child for no apparent reason.”
Elizabeth Simon, the school principal, said that the incident is “very disturbing”.
Authorities are investigating the situation, but believe there is no direct threat to the student.
“She’s actually a wonderful student and well liked by everyone, ” said Simon. “And she, with the support of her family and teachers, is here and participating, but I’m sure it’s very hard. It has to be.”
