Subaru’s latest offering a 3 row SUV called the Ascent and DriveChicago GM Mark Bilek says the automaker really did it’s homework on this one. “The last five or six cars they’ve brought out, they’ve benchmarked all of the best-sellers and tried to meet or exceed them and that’s why their sales are so strong. When you get into a Subaru it’s not like a Subaru from five or eight years ago. It’s a really competitive car, in each segment, and Ascent is that,” said Bilek.
Brian Moody with Autotrader tells us how to get the best resale value. “There’s one little thing that you can do that doesn’t cost that much – depersonalize your car. Don’t have pictures of your kids in the car, no funky smells, no dog fur. Take out the things that make the car look and feel like yours because the next person wants it to seem like it’s going to be theirs and you’re preventing them from doing that with a picture of your girlfriend hanging from an air freshener in your review mirror,” said Moody.”
