The National Rifle Association is losing money, reporting a $55 million dropoff in income last year.
The Daily Beast reports that contributions were down about $27 million and dues down $35 million in 2017 as opposed to 2016, when the presidential election meant a surge in donations.
However, while income is down, an NRA rep says magazine subscriptions went up in 2018 suggesting membership is increasing.
