November U.S. Sales at Ford Motor Company have declined almost 7-percent compared with a year ago.
The Ford F-Series, though, posted a record nine straight months of more than 70,000 trucks sold and SUV sales have also been strong with Ford Vice President Mark LaNeve saying, “With over 821,000 F-series pickups sold through November, we’re on pace to exceed 900,000 pickups and celebrate our 42nd consecutive year as America’s best-selling truck. Combined trucks and SUV sales through November of this year totaled 1.825 million units, more than any other brand. We’re going to be really close to the 2M mark for combined trucks and SUVs this year.”
Fiat Chrysler is reporting an increase of 17-percent in U.S. retail sales for November, hitting a 17-year-high. The Ram and Jeep brands also set a November sales records.
Sales were also up at Toyota, Hyundai-Kia, Subaru but fell at Honda, Nissan, and Volkswagen.
General Motors and Tesla report sales figures quarterly, not monthly.
