As the country’s debt continues to climb to heights never seen before, some are wondering if politicians will ever control their penchant for spending. One report says the President isn’t concerned about the rising debt.
The Daily Beast reports that President Trump recently brushed the idea of a problem when it comes to our national debt.
According to the report, when Trump was shown data about the problems relating to the national debt, he responded by saying: “Yeah, but I won’t be here.”
Another item from the story in the Daily Beast is one former senior adviser that says debt simply isn’t a “top priority” for Trump and that he’s “never once heard him talk about” it.
