Letitia James, who was elected as New York’s Attorney General last month, is planning to investigate the Trump family once she takes office.
James told NBC her office will “use every area of the law” to investigate Trump’s business dealings.
Some of the investigations planned include Trump’s real estate holdings, the Trump Foundation, and his alleged ties to Russia.
James says she’ll also look into the business dealings of Trump family members and “anyone in his orbit who has, in fact, violated the law”.
