(CHICAGO) In state politics, Governor-elect Pritzker has announced some high-profile appointments for his administration.
Pritzker has chosen three deputy governors. Among them is former state comptroller Dan Hynes, who described himself this way when he was running for governor in 2010.
“I’m not a glamorous guy who throws Hail Marys or is a facy-face. We’re four yards and a cloud of dust.”
Pritzker’s other choices for deputy governors are unsuccessful Attorney General candidate Jesse Ruiz and St Rep Christian Mitchell who became executive director of the state Democratic party when Speaker Mike Madigan fired the previous executive in the sexual harassment scandal.
