As Bernie Sanders preps for a possible 2020 presidential run, his former campaign staffers want to discuss the harassment they faced the last time around.
More than two dozen ex-staffers signed a letter asking for a meeting with Sanders’ top campaign directors to discuss “sexual harassment and violence” during the 2016 campaign.
The letter doesn’t mention any specific incidents but referenced an “predatory culture” in 2016 and called for “concrete sexual harassment policies and procedures” as well as “a commitment to hiring diverse leadership”.
Sanders has not yet officially announced a 2020 run, but the Vermont Senator has been a frontrunner in early Democratic polls.
